    Default Supervised Visitation

I am going to go through a divorce. I had a temp restraining order agains my husband, now I have to go and see about making it longer. What is the chance he will get visitation? I want it supervised. He just got a battery charge, he can't drive, has seizures, is bipolar, was bakeracted a few months ago, drug use ( cant prove ) currently, etc. .. Do I need a lawyer? thanks, melissa

If you want to make the Injunction last longer you can file a Motion to Extend the Domestic Violence Injunction. You should request either "no visitation" or "supervised visitation" when you can file an Amended Injunction on behalf of your children. You need to argue to the court the reasons why unsupervised time with the children is not in the children's best interest and is dangerous for them. It would be very wise to hire an attorney to attend the hearing with you.
