Is the Respondent in a divorce case required to serve papers to the Plaintiff via a Process Server? Also, can the Respondent show up in court with dialogue to the judge
that was not properly written in an answer (and a copy properly given to the Plaintiff) during the 20 day period provided by law?

No, the Respondent is not required to use a process server to serve papers on the Petitioner. You must file original documents with the Clerk of Court and send a copy to the Petitioner or their attorney via fax, U.S. mail, or deliver it in person. A written Answer must be filed within the 20 day time period after you are served with the Petition. I'm not sure I understand what you are asking with regards to the dialogue with the judge
