    Exclamation Child Support Question

I've been divorced for 2 years and have a court order for my ex to pay child supporticon for all 3 children. He has recently been classified disabled and recives SSI from the gov. He claims he went to court and does not have to pay child support any longer. He showed me a notice which appears to have been signed by a judgeicon but did not allow me to read it completely. Is it possible that thst the courts would allow him to stop child support especially when he has NEVER paid a penny of child support?

No, your ex would not be able to unilaterally modify or terminate his child supporticon obligations without re-opening your divorce case and serving you with a Supplemental Petition for modificationicon. Being classified as disabled will not relieve him of his obligation to support his children, however, he may be able to modify the on-going support amount he owes.
