Question Im a Custodial Parent of my daughter

Im a custodial Parent of my daughter and i would like to know what my rights are and know if u should get a lawyer. The father has not been here for his daughter. Has only seen her maybe ten times her whole life (20 months). I have just started recieving child supporticon and we havn't gone to court yet for visitions rights.

In order to set up visitation rights, now called "time-sharing," you or the father will need to file a Petition to Determine Paternity. This is a totally different case from a support case opened by the Dept. of Revenue. A Paternity case will establish him as the legal father and will also establish a parentingicon Plan and Time-sharing Schedule.
