    Post Mortgage After Divorce

My ex-husband was awarded our home in our divorce. I signed a quick claim deed to sign off my rights to the property. I have learned since then that I am still responsible for the mortgage if he does not pay. He at times is behind on his payments and on the verge of foreclosure and is behind on property taxes. On a side note he is also behind approx $11,000 in child supporticon. Is there anything I can do to force him to refinance or sell the property now?

    Most likely - No.

But most settlement agreements contain a "hold harmless" and/or an "indemnification" clause. That allows you go reopen the divorce case and seek reimbursement for any lost money.
