Default Child has moved in with me - how do I stop paying child support ?

There is 5 mos to go on child supporticon. But the child has moved in with me now and I would like to stop paying child support to the other parent. While it may sound contrite, the $700 mo I would save would be a big help with bills.

I am not looking to get any money from the other parent - I just want MY payments to stop.

please provide step by step 'for dummies' help ......

    You have three options:
    1. You can ask the other parent to sign a Joint Stipulation as to Time Sharing and child supporticon. That joint stipulation can spell out where the child is living, when child support will end, who/how much child support, etc. You will then file that Joint Stipulation with the court and Department of Revenue along with an Order for the judgeicon to sign off on it. There may be a $50.00 reopen filing fee for the clerk of court.

    2. You can file a Supplemental Petition to Modify Time Sharing and Child Support, have your ex personally served by sheriff or process server, your ex will have 20 days to respond, and you proceed from there.

    3. You can go to the Department of Revenue Child Support Enforcement online at https://taxapp2.state.fl.us/cse/review/ and request a child support review.
