How do they figure Alimony?

Have been seperated for 1 year and trying to divide things up. We were married for 11 years. I had a furnished house before she moved in. She moved out and is now living with family with child. We have had to replace some things that wore out or broke (i.e. fridge, washer, dryer etc) Are these things concidered to be marital? Also I pay child support, insurance on child and there is not much left for bills. Now she wants rehab alimony? I have to work out of town some so that hinders me from getting a second job. Do I have to pay this??

That is a really BIG question - that requires a whole lot more information than what you provided.

Have you looked at your alimony Calculator and/or our alimony predictor? That is a good start.

The appliances you replace after she moved out are not going to be marital - unless the money you use is from a savings account built up during the marriage.
