    Default Paying for Modification attempt

Two questions: What happens if an ex can't afford an attorney to fight a modificationicon of alimonyicon? Also, if we did go to court and I lose would I have to pay her attorney fees?

If your ex is attempting to modify alimonyicon and you cannot afford an attorney you will have to represent yourself. You can motion for temporary attorney's fees and hold a hearing on the issue. In order for your ex to get the court to order you to contribute to their attorney's fees in a modificationicon hearing they will have to show that you have the ability to pay and she has a need.
