Please Advice----Already divorced But again spouse filed lawsuit !!!!

Hi,
I am an INDIAN Citizen, and have been living in USA for more than 7 years, legally, with Skilled worker visa(H1-B). I have been living in FLORIDA for past 2 years.
on sept 2010 me and my wife had a mutual divorce (uncontested divorce) as per State of Florida law.She left for India on oct 2010. I paid all her dues as per marriage settlement agreemnt and she signed the receipt of them too. But after 2 months , reaching India, she filed a matrimonial suit against me, in the local court , mentioning that she doesnt obey FLORIDA courts Divorce decree.Her lawyer from INDIA , sent me a mail regarding this.
Now, can I reply her lawyer (presently in INDIA) from USA lawyer, or do I need to hire lawyer in INDIA?
