Going to court Wed and have a question have been married since April 82 seperated since Jan.2000 and just this past week got cut hours and pay because not enough childern in the pre-school where I work boss wrote letter stating this fact wasn't going to ask for anything but now I really need to ask for alimony to live while I look for another job. I have our 21 yr old daughter living with me who is going to school full time and she is also pregnet due in June I will be 48 in May and he makes way more money then I do. He had to fill out paperwork that they sent to me that he has so many things extra its unreal. Do you think I can go in on Wed and ask for Alimony and get it? I can not afford a lawyer or do you think I'm screwed now? He left me for another women and and has been living with her for years don't know if that means or helps anything.

If you have been separated since 2000 and have been self supporting there is little chance you can get alimony.
