Question Georgia divorce, custody parent in Florida

My X has moved to Florida, I am in Huntsville Alabama.

Am I correct to assume that child supporticon and alimonyicon will follow Florida law going forward? And modifications must be brought to Florida (the county) where my X lives?

If Florida law would lower my child support and alimony, do I have a basis for action simply on the basis my X and child are now in Florida?

    Thanks for replies.

If the two of you last lived as husband and wife in Alabama, and your child lives in Alabama - that is the correct place to file. In that case, Alabama law would govern.
