    Default Question about Alimony..

    Good Morning,

So I have 2 questions really..

1.) My alimonyicon payment to FL DSU is set to end December 31, 2010.. What do I need to do in order for my employer to stop deducting alimony and sending bi-weekly checks to the FL DSU once the Alimony end date is reached?

2.) Can an ex go back and get more Alimony from the court after say 6 years of non-modifiable rehabilitative Alimony? Is it even possible?

    Thanks much..

You must get a court order vacating the IDO and directing the disbursement unit to terminate the account. This can be done by a motion and hearing in your original case. An attorney may be able to get an order signed by mail.

    Non modifiable means just that.
