    Default Disability and child support

I am currently getting a divorce in Florida. I am representing myself because I cannot afford a lawyer. My wife has a lawyer. I have been diagnosed with cancer and am unable to work. My wife filed for divorce two days after I was diagnosed. She is still living in our home, I am renting. I have applied for disability and will start receiving benifits in a couple of months. My wife makes about 50,000 a year. I will only receive about 16,000 a year with disability. She will also receive $349.00 each for both of our children through my disability. Do you think I will be obligated to pay child supporticon or alimoney to her considering she makes so much more and will also be recieving almost $700.00 a month through my disibility? Thank you.

The court should take into account the disability money that she will receive for the children when calculating income/child supporticon etc. I cannot answer your alimonyicon question without more information but it is unlikely that she will get alimony due to your nonvoluntary unemployment...
