Default Quitting job and child support and Parenting plan

I am going to be paying my ex child supporticon. He works two part-time jobs totaling 40 hours per week. If he quits one job, can he go back and ask for more child support? We have equal time sharing.

What if I become injured or disabled and can't work for a period of time? Can support be adjusted or suspended and how fast can that process occur?

    Thanks!

The court will modify child supporticon for a substantial change in circumstance (loss of job, sickness etc.) but will take into consideration whether the decrease in income is due to a involuntary or voluntary loss of income. If someone just wants to quit working or take a less paying job that will backfire. If someone is laid off due to the economy or becomes disabled that would be an involuntary loss of work.
