Default early retirement (voluntary) to stop paying Permenent periodic alimony

My ex is 55 years old..He voluntarily retired so he could have alimonyicon terminated or modified..When we divorced I was making 800 to 1000 dollars per month..I just have a part time job I am in my middle 50's also..I put him through school, and didn't further my education..He remarried 3 days after divorce..I read where if exwife was cohabitating and had help the modificationicon and or termination could happen.Ex also is acting like his is the only income,he has a new wife who works full time, will the courts look at this like the cohabitating? I am not living with anyone, don't want to. I wish the courts looked at cheating adulterous spouses...I put in 27+ years, new wife thinks it is insane to pay the ex alimony....Does anyone have any answers to my serious problem...

There is caselaw that deals with the voluntary unemployed or underemployed ex spouse and alimonyicon. You may need an attorney to assist you should he file to Modify the alimony.
