Buy or not Buy

We just have have just filed for divorced, can I move out and buy a place or do I have to wait the 12 weeks until final divorce decree? We have a seperation date, seperate accouts, and all joints accounts have been closed.

You can buy now. But you should be aware, the mortgage company may want your spouse to sign off on their potential ownership interest.
