    Default Child support question

How exactly does child supporticon work when someone works full time and the other works part time? I work full time and make more money then my husband. He only works about 20 hours a week and makes less then I do. Our son lives me and i'm just wondering how that works.

I have played around with the Calculatoricon and it always shows that someone has to pay a negative amount of money. I do make more then he does, but there are bills to pay and I do have to support my son..

The court will take into account each party's income (if one party makes less than minimum wage the court may impute minimum wage to that party - same if the party is voluntarily underemployed/unemployed), the amount of overnights with each parent (not afternoon hang outs but sleep overs), and give credit to whichever parent (if any) pays for the child's health insurance and/or daycare/afterschool care.
