Default Child Support - Salary + comission calculation?

My wife's former husband is in sales. He gets a base salary, commission and bonus's. His income now is much more than the base he reported he made some time ago. Some months it is substantially more now. He boasts about this to my wife and to the children. He is behind on child supporticon her owes due to sales being down a few years ago. Now the sales are up significantly

    My question:

Is there a way to get an order for a base amount and a percentage of income ( salary, commission and bonus)? This would address the fact his income flucuates and perhaps some amount could go to the arrearage amount?

Any thoughts or comments are welcomed. Is there any prior decision(s) been made that can be used for comparision?

    Thank you,

There is not much support in the law for a percentage award.

You can go off his last year's income, or an annualized figure based on his year to date.
