disbursement of garnished funds

I have a signed judge's order to garnish money from my ex-husband's social security benefits to be paid to me as an arbitrated settlement agreement for the past alimony he owes me. SS tells me they send the money to the court and then the court mails me a check. Who do I contact in order to determine when & how that is going to happen. It's been several months. Help. What justice dept. to I contact? Thank-you. Linda

Sounds like the money may have been sent to the disbursement unit. Bring your case number into the clerk of court where your case was conducted. They may be able to produce a printout of the account status.
