    Post Live in ME but husband filiing divorce lives in FL

    Both in 60s and snowbirds (ME and FL) until I had to go back to work to pay off some bills. Found job in ME last summer and have been living here working, Husband stayed in Fl except for short visit last summer to ME (July-end of Sep. He now wants divorce. Second marriage for both..pre-nup spells evrything out. everything is separated, no jt property. He wants divorce but also wants me to pay for 1/2 of lawyer. what happens if I just say no and ignore papers?

    You do not want to ignore the papers. Something could be decided that is not in your interest.

    Pay 1/2 the expenses and get it done. That is my two cents.
