You can file a Motion for Recusal. If successful, you can file another motion to vacate the last court order. Motions for Recusal are tricky and often fail.
I have had a horrendeous experience during a trial in Family Court, trying to protect my rights as a father.
After the trial, I found out that ex wife's lawyer is the Vice Chair of the Judicial Nominations Committee for our Judicial Circuit. The judgewho presided over my case has a wife who is also a judge and was nominated by the Judicial Nominations Committee to an open seat. Her nomination by the Judicial Nominations Committee happened during the time her husband presided over my case and my ex wife's lawyer vice-chaired the Judicial Nominations Committee that nominated her. Clearly, this seems innappropriate and I would greatly appreciate it if ou could shed light on whether there is anything I can do about it now, after-the-fact. Also, in the future, should I be able to ask for this judge to be recused, based on this?
Thank you.

Thank you for your response. Besides asking for recusal, is there any other oversight authority or any other mechanism to remove this judgefrom my case?
Thank you.
No. That is your only recourse.
