    Default Military Divorce

I am in the Military and so is My Husband. We are stationed at different Army Bases. I am a resident of FL but am stationed in NC. I want to file for divorce and he also wants this divorce. We have never lived together, because we left for Basic training right after the Marriage. He is now deploying in 35 days. Can my Mom file my divorce papers in FL for me and can my Husband print his off and have them Notorized and Mail them to my Mom. Also is there a wavier for him to sing so he does not have to go to the final hearing.

Can the divorce be done before he leaves for deployment, because he wants to get married again to someone else..

I am trying to do all the paper work my self, because I cant afford an Attorney..

You can have someone in Florida file the divorce papers on your behalf. There is a Waiver of your husband's appearance IF you are represented by counsel. The court will more than likely not divorce you if your husband doesn't show up and you do not have an attorney on the case. You should look into a flat fee option if you are low on funds for an attorney.
