    Default Hold Harmless

My husband and I are handling our divorce on our own. There is a second mortgage on the house that is in my name. It is somehow (error from bank)tied to the first mortgage which I had no involvement with. My husband says a Hold Harmless Agreement would be the best way to kepp me from having to pay the second mortgage (which was used to put in a pool). Is this correct?

I don't know if it is the best way for you, but it is one of the ways we deal with that. But a hold harmless does not remove the financial risk.
