    Default annulment

If you get an annulment from your marriage in Florida, do you have to take back your previous name or can you keep the married name?

If you legally changed your name when you were "married," there should be no problem with you keeping it as is. In other words, the court will not force you to take back your maiden name just because your marriage is annulled.

    Default annulment and name change

Can you provide me with the statute that says I do not have to take my former name back in an annulment? That I may keep my married name? Thank you.
