I believe that if you simply omit the name restoration from the final judgment - your name will remain as it is.
I know of no hard rules concerning name restoration.
Dear Mr. Iken, I am getting my marriage annulled. I would like to keep my legal married name, but I'm being told that I have to take my former maiden name back at the time of annulment. Is this true and is there any way to appeal to the judgeto keep my married name? Thank you for your time.
