Not necessarily true. If he has the ability to pay the entire payment - the court will hold him in contempt.
My husband was ordered by the court to start paying me alimonythe first of May 2011 and there after the first of each month. He is not complying with the court's order. I have major health problems and is not working. I have asked my lawyer to request the court to hold him in contempt, I was told as long as he is paying something there was nothing I can do. Is this true?, if not what can I do?
