Default What is taking so long?

My ex and I split up in August 2009, he filed for divorce March 2010. Since then we have been to court 4-5 times. We have no assets such as a car, house, jewerly... ect.ect. Our only issue is child custody. We were finally appointed a gardian at litem in Feburary. However she never came to the house to see the place, the kids, my interaction with them. However she did have me come to her office three times. Twice by myself and once with the kids, but that visit with the children was only 10 mins.
I am just wondering when this whole thing will be over with!!!!!

You did not mention if the two of you have attorneys. Normally the attorneys regulate the flow and pace of the case, depending on the court location.

Either side can file a Notice for Trial and that will ultimately result in the case being set for final trial.
