Default Ex in Florida I'm in th UK

My ex and I were divorced in LA California. I now live in the UK with the children. He has stopped paying child supporticon. I have been told that he has relocated to Florida although still getting paid from the LA office. Our original order was in the LA Courts although child support was transferred to the UK court. To obtain a wage assignment to I need an attorney from LA or Florida now that he resides there?

I believe you are referring to an Income Deduction Order, to his employer. You should be able to get that through the current jurisdiction, LA. A Florida business should honor the court order. If they refuse, you must bring enforcement proceedings against the business in the Florida courts, unless they do business in California.
