    Actually, you your suggestion is the exact one I believe is best for people in your position. When there is a funding issue, it is good to attack the issue one bit at a time.

    I think it is an excellent idea to first get a support order in place. Be aware that child supporticon Enforcement can sometimes be slow.

    It is puzzling how your attorney could let the case get dismissed for lack of prosecution. Even if you were out of money, the attorney should have advised you how to push the case to a final hearing.
