    Exclamation Visitation being willfully denied.

My ex and i live in Polk county in Florida. We have been divorced for over a year now. We have a visitation order in place in our Divorce papers that allow me alternating weekends, Wed. evenings and time blocks over the summer. At any point, if she should get angry with me or chooses not to let me see my daughter she will not let me pick her up. She will not answer the door, or phone when i call to question where my daughter is. If she does then i get "Too bad". I've called the local sheriff's dept. out to her home to assist me but, i have been told they can't help me. What is the point of having a court order for visitation if it can not be enforced??? What should i do now? I can't afford to hire a lawyer and i don't know what to do to have her follow the court order. I just want to spend time with my daughter. Please, please, please...any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

You need to file a Motion for Contempt and hold a short hearing. The same case number will be used, and the hearing heard by the same judgeicon.

You might want to pay for a lawyer to prep your Motion and coach you on the hearing. That would not cost much.
