am I liable for the mortgage and second mortgage if my name is not on the loan or title of either and my ex spouse is residing in the home

If you are still married but going through a separation or divorce, then the court may hold you responsible for the mortgages until the court finds otherwise. If you are already divorced then you need to refer to your Final Judgment signed by the judge.
