You have an uphill battle. Many judges place a lot of emphasis on the GAL. Bring lots of witnesses that can help tell your story. You must disclose the witnesses to the other side prior to trial.
How do I go about fighting recommendations made by the gardian ad litem? I am not happy with them. How can she make a recommendation when she never once came out to the houses and seen the children in their natural environment? Yet alone to check out the houses? I plan on supporting my reasoning in court. I have a 3 hour trial next week and need to figure out if I should bring witnesses, letters and documents or is the judgejust going to agree with her recommendations without hearing all the evidence??
I really need help/advice!!!
