Hi, not sure how this works, but I am confused on a child supportissue. I recently went through a divorce which was finalized back in November of 2010. I have a daughter from my marriage who is 8 and a second 2 year old daughter who was conceived (but was not my ex-husbands, we even covered our basis and had a DNA test done for our divorce which went smoothly)while we were separated and living apart. I recently filed for child support from her biological father (with whom I have not spoken to since she was 2 days old), but received papers in the mail from his residential realty lawyer asking me to admit that my ex husbands is the legal father and he would make a better father then the respondent, admit that it is in the child's best interest to sever ties with the respondent, and admit that I have never paid for child care services that they were provided by family members (which by the way I have all child care receipts from my daughter's expensive daycare totaling almost 6 grand coming from my bank account and that's just from January 2011 to now), and also they would like a laundry list of financial statements going back 3 years, and pictures of my daughter from birth to now. I am confused because in the 17 pages it does not say anything about the respondent taking a DNA test, but only about pawning her off on someone else. I have 30 days to respond by their date which is the 15th but I only received the papers on yesterday August 31, 2011. Do I have rights here? Or do I have to turn over all my personal information to this man and his residential realty lawyer?
