Modification of Alimony

I was court ordered to pay permanent alimony. After the divorce was final my ex wife filed and was granted SSI income, which increased her monthly income by 40%. Basicly she is making more then me know. Whould this be grounds to file a motion to reduce my alimony payment or is the SSI income excempt.
