Mom wont let dad see son

Hello, i am the girlfriend of a great father to a 5 year old. About a month ago, she told him she was keeping him. We havent heard from her or his son since. This is the second time since i have been with him that this has happened. They were never married and dont have a visitation agreement set up thru the courts...just child support. What can we do to re-connect this father and son?
