Under Florida law he cannot make you leave. It appears your situation is governed by NC law.
I live in North Carolina. I married 3 months ago. About one month ago my husband fell and injured his leg which required surgery. he was unable to be by himself so I missed work and pretty much depleted my account. We have kept our finances seperate . Now in his depression and fall out from the surgery he is wanting me to leave. The house we are in is a rental and it only has his name on the lease. My son, and I left our home to move in here with him. Can he make me leave now, or can I stay legally until I am able to get my own place to live. I do not wish to divorce, but if its what he wants I don't feel i Have a choice
