Non- Custodial parent creating kaos!
Hello,
I am the custodial parent of a 3 year old. I have never bother to take drastic measures with the custodial parent because I have been well off by myself along with the help of my parents. We have been to mediation where we came up with a comfortable agreement where he gets her thursday morning to tuesday morning every other weekend. I also filed for child support
resulting in a WOOPING 47.00 a month, which again I didn't bother with because I make enough for us to live comfortably. Then now he has called me to tell me that it's within his RIGHTS to claim her every odd year on his taxes! Keep in mind that I pay for everything from child care to food to clothes for the child and the only breather that I get every year is my tax returns. I feel like I've been taken advantage of for too long and he's not playing fair. HELP!!

You may want to claim your child every year and file taxes before he does. If there is a dispute, the IRS will settle it.
