Default Supoena financial records for the self employed non custodial parent

I am pro se and have had a long battle, and it appears I will have another ahead of me. The non custodial pretty much non existant parent is requesting child supporticon be lowered to a ridiculous amount. With claims of no gain from a new business despite proof of otherwise but how can I prove this in court. I am sure there are plenty of earnings not being reported, and no tax filings til the 2012 tax season, would this be grounds to at least request a continuance until the proof of income or supposedly lack there of be provided?

If a person is self-employed, and has no proof or financial records would modificationicon to the lower end even be a consideration? How can I request the court supoena records/taxes documents/reports/earnings?

It is my understanding that even those who claim no income are held to pay at least as if they had a minimum wage full time job?

    Thanks,

When there is a substantial change in circumstance either parent may request a modificationicon of the child supporticon figure. You can do a Request to Produce and/or Interrogatories to the other party giving them 30 days to provide the requested documents. You can subpoena bank records and other financial information for the hearing.
