    Default Answer to Need Help

Why would a judgeicon not make my ex pay me what back alimonyicon he stopped paying on his on? I am having to file a motion of contempt, and I'm guessing that when he first filed the supplemental petition, that let ex stop paying me what he owed me????Is there ever any chance of getting a judge to make a person pay what by law he owes? My ex retired at 55,stating unforseen circumstances, would I be using the old brain if I ask him to present a letter from his employer stating they ask him to retire or be fired??? This is what he is going to tell the judge. The legal system only sees you for a brief time, they really don't know what a person is really like..Be married to them for 3 decades and you know them.

Thank you so much, this site really gives some light to all the heartbreak people have to go through.

alimonyicon is enforced by courts - there is no doubt about it.

55 is a bit early for retirement. It appears he eliminated his income on purpose. But you are best off either hiring an attorney or getting coaching from an attorney for the upcoming hearing.
