    Default Mediation

    What is the point of having mediation? My ex stopped paying alimonyicon he owes me several thousand dollars..Is the mediation for him to be able not to pay what he owes and to modify his permanent periodic alimony..I believe mediators are a waste of time and money..Can't the attorneys do the same thing,when we have to hire one.

    Mediation lightens the load on the courts. Believe it or not mediation is frequently successful. Yes, attorneys can do the same thing through negotiation. But mediation is still the best.
