It sounds like you never got a court order to modify your last judgment. Until the order is modified, the last order for child supportstill governs.
In April my 16 year old daughter went from living at her moms and visiting me to living with me. The moderator gave my ex 2 three hour visits a week with her (my daughter had refused to go back) and said that after three months if all was well we should work out child supportbetween us. I discontinued support payments to her
on Nov. 1st. Obviously well after establishing that my daughter will continue to reside with me.
My ex wants her payments re-instated although she sees our daughter just for those two visits, no more
ever requested and only seems upset by the lack of money. She has a job, owns a business and received five years of alimonyand child support on time every month.
Do I need to continue the support payments?
