    Default Domestic violence injunction

I am wondering if I can file a domestic violence injunction on behalf of my children?
My ex husband and I have been divorced for over 6 months and we have shared custody of our children, on Dec. 31st, my ex husbands girlfriend called me and stated that on Christmas night (while the children were with me) My ex-husband pushed her up against the wall and was yelling at her in front of their child. She has bruises but she refuses to file an injunction. I am worried about this happening again, but in front of our children.
I had a temporary injunction against him in last December for doing this to me in front of our children. However, the judgeicon dismissed it because he said it was more of he said she said case.

Yes, you are allowed to file for an injunction on behalf of your children.

But I doubt it will stick based on what happened.
