Indefinite Injunction and Custody - how do they mix?

Hi there.

I'm curious to know how family law/custody would play out if the mother of the children (not yet born but in utero) was found guilty of dating violence by a judge and the judge has ordered an indefinite order of protection? Does this lay ground work for the father to say the mother is unfit? How would the exchange of the children happen for visitations?

A judge is required to consider incidents of domestic violence in coming to any parenting decision. The exact effect differs in every case. The court can carve out a limited contact exception for hand offs.
