Hello,
I'm recently divorced, but my ex-wife is constantly asking for money for everything even though I pay child support
. I'm fine with certain things, but I feel that she is trying to take advantage at this point. She is trying to force me to pay for equipment which will be used by my son and her current boyfriends son. My son told me that the things that were purchased were for both, he and his moms boyfriends son. The divorce papers state that I'm responsible for half of the equipment, but I'm just being used to pay for half for everything while her boyfiend and her split the other half. At first I was going to let it go, but it's never ending. I'm never late on my child support and she just wants more and more. I'm frustrated and really don't know what to do at this point. I feel that we are going to end up in court again and that's going to mean more attorney fees which I just can't afford. My question is, what will happen if I don't pay for this particular piece of equipment and what would be her options if I don't? Also, is there anything that I can or need to do? Please help.
Thank you

Do what your final order says - no more or less. You do not have to give in to any and all demands.
You may want to spring for the cost of a one hour discussion of your final judgment ($285). That way you know you are on solid ground.
