please i really need help

HI, long story short my husband and i have a 2 year old daughter, he is military so currently we are leaving in japan. 3 month ago he was drunk we had andn argument and he hit me , so i calle dthe cops , he had no contact order and because he has done that before the command sent him to an a facility for alcoholic and mental treatment. i stayed here to wait for him because i thought after he come back he will change. i want to get a divorce but becaus ehe was always telloing me he wont let me leave i thought after he think things trough he will. he came back but nothing changed he is telling me that i can leave but he wont let my daughter leave with me, and i wil not leave without her. now i a m trapped pretty much here because i wil never leave my daughter but i dont want ot be here. he is also telling me that he will get full custody becaus eshe will be better with him and all that staff.
MY question is can i leave with her without him knowing ? Is that will be against me in court after that?
Also i want to know does he even have any chance of winning full custody after everything that he went trough , and what i need to do to prevent that .?
Please help me with some advice, i dont know what to do anymore but i dont want to stay here and my daughter to grow up with her mom and dad fighting all the time.
can i leave japan with my daughter?

This is a complex decision. You can legally leave - both of you have the right at the moment to relocate with the child. Until there is a court order there are no prohibitions.
