    Cool Wage Garnishment

    Would like to know if a payer (Me) supporting an ex-spouse with permanent ailmoney and paying one half child supporticon (Court Ordered) qualifies as "Head of the Family" under FSS 222.11. I have creditors sueing me ( Visa, etc) and i see judgements coming my way.

    I was personally interested in the answer to this and conducted some legal research. The answer is: yes. In your circumstance, you still would get the head of household exemption. Attached is a Florida Supreme Court case where this principle was decided.
