Hello,
Iwas recently divorced in Florida and have been ordered to pay alimony, I want to have it deducted from my check automatically. Does it come out of the gross pay before taxes or do I pay it out of my net pay?

alimonycomes out of your gross pay. But most forms of alimony are tax deductible to the payor, and must be claimed as income by the person receiving. So at the end of the year, with tax deductions, there will be a large benefit tax-wise.
