    Default Shelter of child/Grandparent rights

I have been sheltering a child (11 month old) for almost 5 months, at the request of mother, and approved by court. I am a non relitive caregiver. Maternal grandmother (MGM) has begun insisting on unsupervised visits, mother of child objects due to drug use and prostitution MGM in actively involved with. Mother is currently following case plan and in full cooperation with courts.
What are the rights of the MGM in this case?
(She has no legal record of drug or prositution, never been 'caught', but her advertisements can easily be found online.).

    Thank you!

The MGM has no rights unless the dependency court judgeicon grants visitation.

In dependency court there is more leeway to make arrangements such as this. In divorce court MGM would have no right to visitation.

MGM would have to appear at the next status conference to ask for visitation. Short of that - follow the case plan, and follow the latest temporary order.
