Arrow I have one child, she has one

I am wondering how that child supporticon guidelines sheet works when I just got custody of my son and my ex still has custody of my daughter. You would think that my portion of support would have gone down to at least half by getting custody of one of the kids. My attorney filled out the guidelines in a strange way that made me pay more than expected. How does this work and where can I find it in the statutes or online? I have looked everywhere.
Also, my ex seems to get fired or quit a job right before court each time, how do I ask the judgeicon to keep her pay(for child support reasons) what is was before she got fired/quit? There must be some way.
    Thanks in advance

Your child supporticon should be significantly reduced. There are several different ways to calculate "split custody" based support.

Your attorney is hopefully using one of the commercial software packages used by divorce attorneys to accurately calculate child support.

In your particular case, there is a Florida case called "Katseralis" where the court defined a preferred way to calculate split custody support. Most of the commercial software packages will offer this method when running the calculation.
