i need advice

me and my husband are in the middle of a divorce. i have made a huge mistake about a year ago after we seperated and committed adultery. he says he can take my daughter away from me because of it! can he do that? he took me back after that happend and we tried to make things work, but i couldnt take him anymore so i moved away after 8 months! we have been married for almost 4 years! what should i do, i have learned my leson and wanted things to work out, but to no avail... HELP
